A family-owned, 38-employee, Deposit manufacturing plant impacted by international import and export challenges over the past several years has received a $150,000 Trade Adjustment Council grant to help it run more efficiently and cost effectively.

John Camp, left, owner of IWCI in Deposit, recently gave Congressman John Faso a tour of the Delaware County manufacturing facility.

Chamber member Integrated Wood Components, Inc.,owned by John Camp, has cornered a niche point-of-purchase market and manufactures furniture, wood components and particle board products for an international market.

Congressman John Faso toured the company with John Camp recently and said IWCI is illustrative of many small manufacturing companies in New York – by adding value to the economy.

IWCI is an example of the multiplier effect and wealth creation effect of manufacturing, Congressman Faso said.
